Before you start
- You need a staff login that can open the till.
- Have the cash drawer open so you can count it.
Open the session
Go to the open session screen
Choose how to enter the float
There are two tabs:
- Type It — enter the total cash amount in one go.
- Count It — enter how many of each note and coin you have, and TwinePOS adds it up.
Both tabs show the previous day’s closing balance, so you can check your count against it. Use Count It if you want TwinePOS to suggest which notes to send to the bank when you cash up later.
