# X and Z reports

> Check sales during the day or print your end-of-day totals.

## What's the difference?

| Report | When to use it | Does it close the till? |
| - | - | - |
| **X report** | Any time during the day, to check sales so far | No |
| **Z report** | At the end of the day | Yes |

An X report only includes sales from the **current open till session**. Sales from sessions you've already closed aren't counted again.
