# Change the payment method on a closed order

> Fix an order that was paid with the wrong payment method.

If a sale was recorded against the wrong payment method — for example it was paid by card but rung up as cash — you can change it after the order is closed. TwinePOS keeps a record of the change, so your reports stay accurate and the original sale isn't lost.
